A classic, mineral-laden Sancerre from the village of Bue, which is prized for its limestone-rich soils. This is a clean, minerally, citrusy, racy style of Sancerre. Aromatically, it tastes like someone took chalk dust and poured citrus oil over it and added a pinch of gunflint. Vieux Pruniers truly overdelivers on every front, especially given the price escalation in quality Sancerre the past several years...we just wish there was more to go around!
